Most find chemistry balanced, along expected lines
PAPER DIFFICULTY: MODERATE
Nagpur: The main term II exams for Std XII students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) began on Saturday with chemistry. The paper was of easy to moderate difficulty for most students.
Rupal Rathi, a student of Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, said, “The question paper had three sections — A, B and C. Section A was easy and had questions for two marks each, which I solved easily. Sections B and C were also not that difficult.”
Another student Aditya Sharma was satisfied with the paper. “I was expecting the exam to be tough but it turned out to be moderate. There were some direct questions, while some were tricky. Section C had tough questions, carrying five marks each, while Section A had easy questions and Section B was moderate. I completed the paper within the stipulated time.”
Shruti K said she found the exam to be lengthy. “My friends and I struggled a bit in numerical questions. The internal choices within questions were quite beneficial. The question paper was balanced overall and covered the syllabus well,” she said.
“The exam was moderate for me,” said Abhijeet Kaithwas. He added, “I was able to complete my paper on time. Questions were based on NCERT textbook and therefore, none of them were out of syllabus. Overall, it was quite good. Some questions were from important topics as well. Organic chemistry troubled me a bit but I did my best. I'm looking forward to the next exam.”
Yogesh Kumar said the exam was easy and writing an offline paper after a long time didn't feel different for him. He said, “I was well prepared and gave my 100%. I am expecting more than 30 marks. Overall, I would say it was a decent paper.”
