Milind Barahate takes charge as vice-chancellor of LITU

Nagpur: Milind Barahate assumed the charge of vice-chancellor of Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU) on Saturday. The transition follows the completion of Raju Mankar's term, who served as the first vice-chancellor of LITU for one year. As per the orders of Governor of Maharashtra and Chancellor of LITU, Barahate will serve as VC until a new VC of LITU is appointed.
Barahate was welcomed by Niraj Khaty, LITU registrar, and other University officials including Shilpa Pande, finanace & accounts officer, Pratibha Agrawal, director BRIIL, Pradeep Shende CoE, Archana Moon, dean school of biological sciences and technology, Girish Deshmukh, dean school of chemical technology, Naresh Patil, director board of student development, Sanjay Shirsat, head department of chemical engineering and Saurabh Joglekar PRO of LITU and other university teaching and non-teaching staff.
Present on the occasion were Mohan Pande, principal advisor of LITU and Utkarsh Khopkar, chancellor's nominee to Board of Governance LITU along with Avinash Asanare, registrar of Amravati University and other officials of LITU and AU.
