Man stabs two after dispute, arrested

Nagpur: A 25-year-old man was arrested on Friday for allegedly attempting to murder a 22-year-old youth by stabbing him in the neck. According to cops, the incident occurred on June 5 near Dalit Library, Imamwada. Accused Mayank Yadav, a resident of Rambagh near railway tracks, first abused Ritesh alias Dadu Wankhede, calling him a drunkard and demanded money. When Ritesh refused, Yadav left but later confronted him and his friend Shubham alias Bittu Masram, 17, near his house.Yadav allegedly abused the duo and stabbed Shubham on the hand. When Ritesh intervened to save his friend, Yadav stabbed him on the neck. Yadav was later arrested under Sections 109, 296 BNS.
