Maha Bandh call sees partial response in Amravati

Amravati: The Maharashtra Bandh call given by Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena received a partial response in the city on Monday.

Barring schools, all other establishments remained open in the city. All main markets did not pull their shutters down even though the three parties gave a call for it, held demonstrations at Rajkamal Square and shouted slogans in protest of the Lakhimpur Kheri incident.
