M Devendra Singh to be new collector of Yavatmal

Yavatmal: M Devendra Singh has been appointed as the

collector of Yavatmal

while Ajay Gulhane has been transferred from Yavatmal without any indication of his new assignment.

The incoming IAS officer was the Municipality Corporation Commissioner of Latur. It is his maiden posting as the collector of a district.

Ajay Gulhane has assumed the office of the district Collector of Yavatmal a year ago and he has successfully conducted both the Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections. He has in his credit a spectacular work of constriction of over 5,000 check dams across the district. He is eagerly waiting for his new assignment.
