Lahoree deluxe bar owner arrested, hospitalized

: Sameer Sharma, 31, owner of Loheree deluxe bar and restaurant, got admitted at Mayo hospital complaining of uneasiness while in Sadar

police

station lock-up on Friday. He was earlier arrested, along with four others, following cross-complaint filed by Pawan Choudhary in the

firing

case of Dharampeth on November 13 earlier this month.

Apart from Sharma, police have arrested Shrikant Wanve, Abhishek Singh, Shubham Jaiswal and Rakesh Samudrawar on Friday for their alleged involvement in firing at their rivals. As Sharma was at hospital, the four of his accomplices were produced before the court which remanded them for four days in the custody of Sitabuldi police for custodial interrogation.

It has so far being learnt that three rounds were fired during the clash with Sharma and his friends having fired towards Choudhary and his gang who later retaliated with two shots. It was Pappu Dagor, close aide of Choudhary, who had learnt to have fired two rounds towards Sharma and others. While Choudhary and four of his accomplices have been already in custody, Dagor and others are yet to be nabbed. Apart from Dagor, gangsters Sumeet Chintalnar, Sheikhu Khan, Amar Lohkare and others have not been arrested yet. Dagor and others are part of the Ajni-based ‘Maya gang’ which is led by Chintalnar and Lohkare.

It was following a tiff at the bar over teasing a girl that Choudhary and others had left the place threatening Sharma and others to get Maya gang to teach the owner of the premises and others a lesson. Initially, an offence was registered against Choudhary, Sheiku and others for attempt of murder, rioting and using firearms. Later, Sharma and his employees and friends too were booked on similar charges.
