Nagpur: The inaugural day of the Maha Sanskruti Mahotsav in Gadchiroli became memorable, thanks to the electrifying performance by well-known singers Hrushikesh Ranade and Anandi Joshi. The show titled ‘Nakshatranche Dene’ (Dance of the Stars) had the audience swaying and singing along, creating an atmosphere of pure musical magic.
Ranade, a celebrated playback singer known for his soulful voice and reality show triumphs, performed along with Anandi Joshi, a Filmfare award winner.

They presented Marathi and Hindi melodies comprising the timeless compositions of legendary Sudhir Phadke and Asha Bhosale.

Accompanied by talented singers from Nagpur and a group of skilled instrumentalists, the duo transported the audience back in time with their renditions of Marathi songs originally sung by Asha Bhosale. The audience too sang along, their voices blending harmoniously with the music.
Yielding to the enthusiastic demand from the audience, Ranade and Joshi also presented their own hit songs from Marathi movies. Ranade’s rendition of ‘Kadhi Tu’ from ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai’ warmed many a heart, while Anandi’s ‘Kiti Sangaychay Mala’ and other popular numbers had the crowd swaying to the rhythm.
The energy soared higher as the duo launched into a medley of foot-tapping numbers and vibrant lavanis.
The festival has been organized by the ministry of culture, and the district administration of Gadchiroli. ZP CEO Aayushi Singh inaugurated the festival. SDO Gadchiroli Omkar Pawar, additional collector Dhanaji Patil, and asst commissioner of social welfare department Sachin Madavi were present. They highlighted the importance of such cultural events in fostering community spirit and enriching lives.
