HRS Hikers lead inspiring trek to Kedarnath Temple

Nagpur: A group of 15 individuals under the banner of HRS Hikers completed a spiritually and physically demanding expedition to Kedarnath Temple on foot. Starting from Sonprayag, the group undertook the 23km uphill journey to the Kedarnath Temple, one of the holiest shrines nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. Despite the formidable terrain and altitude challenges, every member reached the temple without the aid of ponies or palanquins - a feat made more inspiring by the fact that 9 of the trekkers were aged between 53 and 61 years.The group comprised: Radhakrishna Picipaty, Sita Krishna Picipaty, Sonam Jaiswal, Sanjay Singh, Reena Singh, Jyothi Naidu, Bhaskar Naidu, Meeta Shaw, Sara Pekhale, Jaidev Wavre, Aaryan Sonawane, Y Vijaya, Y Sriya, Y Sneha, and Kavitha Shinde. The journey was expertly led by Rohit Pisipati & Harrshit Jaiin, whose leadership and meticulous planning were instrumental in the group's success. They were ably supported by the local team: Govind Singh, Bhuvan Rawat, and Pravin Singh — whose knowledge of the terrain and constant encouragement helped ensure a smooth and safe journey.The expedition wasn't limited to Kedarnath alone. The group also visited the sacred Badrinath temple, the legendary Mana village (India's first village near the Tibetan border), and the holy confluences of Devprayag and Rudraprayag, where rivers merge to form the lifeline of northern India — the Ganga."This wasn't just a trek — it was a pilgrimage of the soul," reflected one senior member upon reaching Kedarnath. "It tested our will, bonded us as a group, and brought us closer to something divine."
