‘Govt must increase allocation for medical education’

Dr Prakash Wakode was speaking at the installation ceremony of new team of BAHO. He said, “BAHO is already doing an excellent work but can also play a major role in decision making. BAHO should get respresentaion in state decision taking body. The health problems being faced by Melghat can be very well addressed by the organization.”

Dr Ashok Kamble was installed as the president and Dr Pradep Pazare as secretary. HoD of NU’s Dr Ambedkar Thoughts department, Dr Pradeep Aglave, was the chief guest on the occasion.

, veteran neurologist Dr Chandrashekhar Meshram, Dr Sunil Talware of Babasaheb Ambedkar National Association of Engineers, and district information officer Anil Gadekar were the guests of honour.

Advising students present at the ceremony, Dr Meshram said, “In Indian medical education scenario there is not enough study material. You should all develop a habit of keeping records during practice. This can help in developing study material. Apart from the routine practice you also need to contribute in research.”

and Dr Sushant Meshram. Dr B S Gedam will be the president elect, Dr MS Wasnik and Dr KM Kamble as the patrons, and Dr Chandrashekhar Meshram as the adviser.
