Goon’s murder accused sent to police custody

Nagpur: Jabir Hussain Khan and Shakeel Khan, accused in murder of goon Feroze Khan Habib Khan, were on Saturday granted police custody remand till August 31. The duo had strangled Feroze to death with a towel at Rose Colony on Godhni Road on Friday.
Feroze’s body was found near Gorewada water filter plant. Jabir and Shakeel were rounded-up following complaints from the victim’s kin.Jabir is brother-in-law of Feroze. It’s learnt, Jabir took help of his cousin Shakeel to murder Feroze and dump the body.
Feroze, a murder accused, had expressed his apprehension before the kin that he could be murdered by Jabir. It’s learnt, Feroze and Jabir were at loggerheads after former’s wife Mona fled home with cash.
Gittikhadan police had initially registered acidental death as no injury marks were found on the body. Senior PI RD Nikam said post mortem report suggested strangulation, so a murder case was filed.”
