Fight between 2 tigers leavesone dead

Nagpur: On Saturday morning, the carcass of a tiger was found in a highly decomposed state at Umrer-Pavni-Karandhla.
While the remains of the animal have now been sent for autopsy, preliminary indication by forest officials is that the death occurred due to fight between two tigers.
Forest guard Zafar Ali Syed followed a strong stench in section 1418, and upon inspection found the big cat in a decomposed state.
A Srilakshmi, area director, Pench Tiger Reserve and Pramod Panchbhai, divisional forest officer, Bor Sanctuary, reached the spot.
According to the standard operating procedure set by the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), the carcass of the tiger was sent for autopsy. During the preliminary examination, claw marks and a broken bone were seen in the carcass of the tiger. tnn
