Driver killed over money dispute
Nagpur: The body of a 20-year-old driver, Pramod Pande was found on Friday behind Harish Bar on Amravati Road. The murder is said to have been committed on Wednesday, allegedly over some money matter. Three accused in the case, Azim Kadir Baig (18), Himanshu Pande (19) and Ghanshyam Shahu (18) have been arrested by Sitabuldi police and a case of murder has been lodged against them.

Baig is said to have a criminal record .According to police sources Vinod Pande (30), brother of the deceased had gone to Sitabuldi police station on Thursday to lodge a missing complaint. But the police decided to register a case of kidnapping.
According to some information received by the police, they rounded up Baig, Pande and Shahu as suspects on Thursday. Police had come to know that the trio had had a fight with someone on Wednesday behind a bar on Amravati Road. They even conducted a search at the place where the fight had taken place, but didn’t succeed in locating the body then.
It was only on Friday when the locals at the same place complained of a stench that the police recovered Pramod’s body. As the body was in a highly decomposed state, the police called Pramod’s family for identification. The body was later sent to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post mortem.
After the identification, the accused trio were again taken into custody where they confessed to having killed Pramod with hammer. The accused told the police that a fight had ensued between them and Pramod over money and a hand cart which was given to them by the deceased and his brothers for running a small business.
