Driver held for molesting 4-year-old minor

NAGPUR: A 28 year old youth was arrested for allegedly molesting a four year old in

Gittikhadan

on Thursday. The minor survivor, studying in nursery and the accused, an auto driver by profession lived in the same neighbourhood. She was playing outside when the accused took her to his place where he grabbed her hands and did obscene acts, cops said. After she didn’t return home for a long time, her father went outside to search for her. Hearing her father calling out her name, the accused got scared and let her go.

The child escaped to her father and narrated the whole incident to him whereupon a police

complaint

was lodged under relevant sections and the accused was arrested.
