CISCE Results: Toppers Eyeing Diverse Careers

Nagpur: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results on Thursday, with Nagpur students recording strong performances. While girls edged ahead overall, several high scorers across streams have now set their sights on competitive exams and diverse career paths.At the national level, ICSE recorded a pass percentage of 99.18%, while ISC stood at 99.13%. The western region, including Maharashtra, led the country in ICSE results with 99.85% and secured second place in ISC at 99.55%.In Nagpur, Aarav Salve of SFS School of Excellence emerged as the probable ICSE city topper with 97.2%. Aarsh Singh from Marie Poussepin's Academy, Husaina Najeeb from MSB Educational Institute, and Sarakshi Patil from Chanda Devi Saraf School followed closely, each securing 97%."Being part of the first batch of the school made me even more motivated to perform well," said Salve, who balanced regular tuition with nearly five hours of daily self-study. He plans to pursue science.Sarakshi Patil, who shared the probable second rank, credited her mother as her biggest source of motivation. "I maintained two to three hours of self-study every day. Consistency really made the difference," she said. Patil intends to take up PCM and prepare for NEET.In ISC, Hussaina Izzy from MSB Educational Institute emerged as the probable city topper with 96.2% in humanities. Harsh Dwivedi (95%) from Chanda Devi Saraf School and Insiya Ambawala (94%) from MSB Educational Institute followed right behind in the science stream.A published writer, Izzy attributed her performance to a genuine interest in her subjects. "Studying never felt like a burden because I truly enjoyed what I was learning," she said. Having already secured multiple college acceptances, she plans to appear for CUET and pursue media management and journalism.Dwivedi highlighted the role of smaller class sizes in enhancing learning. "Personal doubts were addressed, which helped strengthen concepts," he said, adding that a structured study routine of three to four hours daily helped him maintain balance.Among other high achievers, Kavya Meshram scored 96.2% in ICSE while simultaneously completing her final year of classical music training. With two to three hours of focused study each day, she managed both academics and extracurricular commitments. She now plans to opt for PCM and prepare for JEE. Students and educators noted that discipline, consistency and clarity of goals remained common factors among this year's high performers.
