CIPS emerge champions in Rukmin Inter-School Skating competition
Winners of various age groups with their prizes
NAGPUR: Central India Public School (CIPS) emerged as the overall champions in the district-level first inter-school skating competition, organized by the Rukmin School, here recently at the NMC skating rink, Nandanvan.
Around 430 skaters from 50 schools took part in the one-day meet, which was organized in the age group between 5 and 15 years. The meet was organized under the auspices of Nagpur District Roller Skating Association (NDRSA).
While CIPS reigned supreme, Nisarg Skating Club finished runners-up with an outstanding performance.

E Pathshala School bagged the honours as the highest number of participants.
In the Under-5 age category, Riyansh Rathod, Meet Anjankar, Rishik Kubde,
Lavanya Mankavade, Devyani Admane, Trisha Bankar and Rudra Ghatole excelled.
Aditya Bhurle, Ninad Saoji, Purvanshu Gajbhiye and Sanj Ghatole dominated the U-6 section.
In the U-7 years group, Ram Makhe, Tayash Gupta, Dhanashri Ninave and Pankhudi Jethvani won maximum events.
Ritisha Pethe, Smit Patil, Aaradhya Bhoyar and Vir Mulchandani reigned supreme in the U-8 section.
Senior sports journalist of The Times of India Suhas Nayse, former mayor Shekhar Sawarbandhe and NDRSA secretary Upendra Verma were the chief guests and distributed the prizes.

Rukmin School principal Pravin Ninave, organizing committee chief Shashikant Thakre, Kartavya Skating Club secretary Deepak Admame, Prashant Kamde, Nandu Dhote, Ganesh Doifode, Avinash Lokhande, Salman Khan and Akash Pande were present on the occasion.
Amol Mandlekar, Pankaj Gaiki, Wadibhasme, Pankaj Bhoyar, Manoj Ninawe, Harsha Paratake, Sanjivani Bhorkar, Nandini Bawankar, Renuka Ambulkar, Madhuri Rewatkar, Shubhangi Borsare, Bharat Thakre and Pranay Dhote worked hard for the success of the meet.
