NAGPUR: Unidentified thieves broke open the lock of the site office of a private company and made away with electronic equipment and other instruments worth Rs 1.7 lakh. A complaint was filed by Vilas Yede, 31, filed a police complaint with Hudkeshwar police station on Saturday evening.
Yede, a builder, owns a site office at Pipla, Hudkeshwar Road. He told police that his site supervisor informed him on Friday morning about the burglary and later the police were informed.

In another incident, burglars broke open the office of Rajesh Thakkar at Gandhibagh market and made away with cash Rs 1.4 lakh and a moped on Saturday night. Thakkar, a resident of Khare Town, Dharampeth, claimed loss of Rs 1.53 lakh and has registered a case at Tehsil police station.
