Burglars decamp with valuables worth ₹9L
Nagpur: Unidentified burglars decamped with valuables worth ₹9 lakh, including ₹4 lakh cash and gold jewellery, from a beauty parlour in Mohan Nagar. The burglary, which came to the fore on Monday morning, is likely to have taken place a day ago when members of the Chakranarayan family had gone to visit their relatives.
Three held for armed robbery
Three armed goons, Ram Iqbal Lalal Rai, Chandan Rai and Chetan Juradkar, were arrested by Pardi police following a complaint of one Shahzad Khan Kallu Khan who was robbed of Rs 3,000 and a mobile phone on Sunday near an eatery on the Hyderabad-Jabalpur highway.

Woman killed, body dumped
A woman in her mid-50s was murdered by an unidentified person over an unknown motive opposite Nagar Parishad Complex in Mowad. The body of Manjusha Amte, a mentally disturbed person, was found inside a cement drain on Monday. Police said kiler first struck Manjusha on the head and then banged it repeatedly on the cement surface before tucking her body inside the cement chamber. tnn
