The programme, conceptualized by Yuvraj Choudhary, was aimed at giving budding

child artistes

a platform to showcase their talent so that they could pursue their hobby with vigour. The event helped children shed the fear of performing before the audience and take up extra-curricular activities and promote creativity among them.

A few of the best performances of the evening were presented by Kimiya Nanhayi as she sang ‘Kyun zindagi ki raah mein’, a

ghazal

originally sung by Jagjit and

Chitra Singh

from the movie ‘Saath Saath’. Following her, Diya Chakroborty’s presentation of ‘Salona sa sajan hain’, a ghazal originally sung by Asha Bhosale, drew applause.

Aarya Bhongade turned many heads as she mimicked various actors and presented a dance performance too. Sushil Kale gave a solo tabla performance while Devendra Kale sang a Jagjit Singh song ‘Hothon se chhoo lo tum’ while playing guitar.

Other children who participated in the event were Aayushi Bhake, Shrirang Bhake, Archita Lakhote, Aashita Dongre, Vanshika Naik, Sharvari Chude, Aryan Dongre, Tanisha Gajbhiye, Aarya Bhongade and Avani Vaibhav.

Krishna Kapoor and Manoj Tambe were part of the team that staged the show.
