NAGPUR: Four unidentified persons stabbed to death a bookie-turned-real estate dealer on Sunday evening. Arvind Kashikar, alias Manju, was dragged out of his home near Ganesh Nagar garden by the assailants who had come on a couple of bikes. He was learnt to be close to a former bookie and police informer Subhash Sahu who too was murdered last year.

Kashikar, former president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, was at home when unidentified assailants barged into his residence. It is learnt Kashikar tried to flee but the assailants chased and pinned him down. Kashikar is learnt to also own a shop for lottery at Tiranga chowk.
It is learnt that Kashikar was summoned by cops for questioning in Subhash Sahu murder case. He was trying to settle in real estate business. Kotwali police have registered a case of murder.
