NAGPUR: Two-day Hindustani classical music festival Gunijaan Samaroh will be held at
Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sabhagruha
on Saturday and Sunday. Organized by Maharashtra Lalit Kala Nidhi in association with Saptak, the festival will see young artists taking the stage.

The festival will open with the vocal recital of
Viraj Joshi
who is the grandson of Pt
Bhimsen Joshi. This will be followed by a sitar recital by
Chirag Katti
, son and disciple of famous sitar player Shashank Katti.
On Sunday morning, vocalist
Nagnath Adgaonkar
, will take stage. Santoor player Shruti Adhikari will follow him next.
The evening session will begin with a flute recital by child prodigy S Akash. The festival will close with a vocal recital by Anand Bendre.
“We are organizing two events in Nagpur. The other festival Pt CR Vyas Smriti Sangeet Samaroh is held in February and features senior artists,” says renowned santoor artist Pt Satish Vyas, the organizer of the concerts.
