Inter-state ATM breakers’ gang busted

Nagpur: A crime branch team nabbed two interstate ATM breakers, Jitendra Pal and Akhilesh Pal, natives of Uttar Pradesh, red-handed from an ATM kiosk in Kamptee on Sunday. One of their accomplices, Vimal Pal, is still on the run. The cops detected five offences after busting the gang.
Apart from Nagpur, the duo also stole ATM cash in Washim, Akola, Buldhana, Nanded, Pune, Mumbai, and other places in Maharashtra. Police said the gang would insert thin plates into the ATMs to steal currencies. They were caught following a tip-off.
