4 sr PIs among 27 to receive DG Insignia award

Nagpur: A total of 27 cops including four senior inspectors from Nagpur city and Nagpur rural police will get ‘DG Insignia’ award for their outstanding service. The medals will be given on ‘Maharashtra Day’ on May 1. The DG Insignia is awarded to police personnel for contributing to the force for more than 15 years with clean records.The recipients include crime branch PI Dyaneshwar Bhedokar, senior PI Dhananjay Patil, PI Bharat Kshirsagar and senior PI Jagvendra Singh Rajput, police training centre’s assistant Pannu Dhanvijay, City Police Force APSI Shailesh Thawre, rural police ASIs Kailas Patiye and Vinod Sarode, among others. tnn
