4 commit suicide

AKOLA: Spurt in suicide cases during the last 48 hours was reported in Akola region.
Aakash Thakur (20), a resident of Kailas Tekdi area here, ended life by hanging himself to death from a tree behind the jail premises on Friday afternoon. The reason behind the suicide has not been ascertained.
Narayan Dahake (55) of village Akolkhed in Akot taluka consumed poison to end life.He died during medical treatment at Civil Hospital here.
Bapurao Khandare (50) of village Akolkhed in Akot taluka committed suicide on Friday by consuming poison due to harassment allegedly by a beat head constable.
The deceased had a dispute with one Khushal Khandare over the land in the village police said.
Dnyaneshwar Bhandekar (30) of Mehkar in Buldhana district committed suicide by jumping into Painganga river. according to Amita the wife of the deceased told the police who registered the offence under 306 of IPC against the building contractor Ganesh Mahalkar who refued to pay wages of the deceased the wife said.
Vijay Pawar (35) of village Khadadgaon in Khamgaon taluka set himself on fire on Thursday. He succumbed to burn injuries, police said.
The accidental deaths were registered in all these cases and further investigations are on the police added.
