4 arrested for black magic ritual in Anjangaon Surji
Amravati: An incident of alleged black magic ritual aimed at unearthing hidden treasure has come to light near an abandoned sugar factory in Anjangaon Surji. Police have arrested four accused, including a self-proclaimed occult practitioner, in connection with the case.The arrested accused have been identified as Ravindra Maroti Jamkar (29), Sudhakar Suresh Kole (38), Rajaram Gangaram Sawalkar (52), and Manohar Laxman Yeole (42).According to police, the watchman of the abandoned sugar factory alerted authorities after noticing suspicious activity around midnight. Police recovered occult-related items and digging tools from the site.The accused were arrested under the Maharashtra Anti-Superstition and Black Magic Act. Police inspector Suraj Bonde stated that investigation is underway, emphasizing zero tolerance for such unlawful activities.
