22-yr-old veggie vendor murdered in Ajni

Nagpur: A 22-year-old vegetable vendor from Swaranjali Nagar in Sakkardara, Sagar Giridhar Salame, was found murdered in Bajrang Nagar within Ajni Police Station jurisdiction late Wednesday evening.Initial police reports suggest Sagar was stabbed at an unknown location and somehow managed to reach Bajrang Nagar before collapsing. Passers-by, recognising him as the local vegetable vendor, informed the police. His family rushed to the scene upon hearing the news.The motive for the attack is still unknown, and no suspects have been identified yet. Ajni police have filed a case of murder against unidentified attackers. The body has been sent to GMCH for autopsy.Senior police officials visited the location and initiated an investigation.
