2 women robbed of gold chains

NAGPUR: The police have registered two cases of chain-snatching at different places on Wednesday. In the first, 24-year-old Rakhi Jain was robbed of her gold chain worth Rs30,000 and in the other, robbers decamped with a gold chain worth Rs55,000 from Vijayalaxmi Ayyar.
Rakhi was returning to her Mahal home on her scooty in the morning when she was robbed.A biker snatched Rakhi's chain after slapping her and sped away. Lakadganj police have registered a case.
In the other incident, two bike-borne robbers snatched the gold chain from Vijayalaxmi who was on foot. She too was assaulted by the robbers. Gittikhadan police have registered a case.
