Village accountant in Lokayukta net
Based on the complaint given by Thirta, a resident of Madhusavare village in Belur taluk, Lokayukta police have caught village accountant Venktesh Prasad of Kushavara Circle while accepting bribe of Rs 900 from Thirtha, Lakshman and Rama for issuing Aam Admi bonds here on Tuesday.
The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody for 15 days, said Lokayukta SP A N Swamy.
