1-yr-old boy dies after car rams two-wheeler

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a one-year-old boy, Likesh, lost his life when a car rammed the two-wheeler he was riding with his parents.The unfortunate event was captured on CCTV installed at a nearby fuel station.According to police, the accident occurred around 3pm on Sunday when the boy was travelling with his parents, Abhishek and Divyashree, on their two-wheeler under Yelwala police limits. The car rammed the bike from the rear side. Due to the impact of the collision, all the three riders were tossed in the air. Likesh, who suffered a head injury after hitting the road surface, died on the spot. His parents also sustained injuries in the accident.Police have detained the car driver for questioning in connection with the incident.
