They meet here with great verve

The reasons why a bunch post graduate students of criminology and forensic science visit this adda, located just behind their department on the Maharajas College campus, are many and various. They come here to have regular academic discussions, exchange notes and talk about cricket, films and current affairs and many a time, just to caper around.For these fun loving youngsters, it is a place to relax and whileaway the time. They visit this place daily, just before the classes begin andlater in the evening before winding up. Many of their plans take shape at thishangout zone, where they conceive and exchange ideas, be it about curricular orextra-curricular activities.These students have an academic bent oftime and at the same time, their concern for the society is laudable. They arevoluntary blood donors and they are ever willing to help people with blood whenthere is a need.This cool, calm place also doubles as a funky party zone on occasions such as birthdays and other celebrations. "It is like another home for us. Duringleisure time we straight away come to this place. When we are here we feel relaxed and discuss topics related to current affairs, sports and also about our academics. A visit to this place at least once a day is a must for most of us," says R Mallikarjun."Coming to this place is a joyin itself. We feel happy to meet friends here. We have interactions amongourselves an a range of topics," says K C Pramod.For S Shashidharand his other cricket loving friends, this is a prefect place to chalk out gamestrategies. D Dharshan says when he is here he feels relaxed and verycomfortable.
