Seminar on women in Kannada literature

MYSORE: JSS College for Women, Saraswathipuram, in association with the University Grant Commission will be conducting a two-day state-level seminar on `Women in Kannada Literature' at the college auditorium from March 11.
Addressing reporters on Friday, head of the Kannada department, JSS College for Women, S P Umadevi said more then 300 participants from different colleges across Karnataka are expected to take part in the two-day seminar.The event will be inaugurated by poet laureate G S Shivarudrappa at 10 am and Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion. The valedictory function will held on March 12.
