MYSORE: The freedom fighters kept date with the Quit India Movement as they celebrated its 67th anniversary at Subbarayanakere, the freedom fighters' memorial here, on Sunday.
Hosted by the Freedom Fighters Association, the event marked the reunion of the freedom fighters as they hoisted the National Flag and sang the National Anthem. Working chief of the Association M G Krishnamurthy led the celebrations, which marks Mahatma Gandhi's call to the British to leave India.
