Pahalgam attack: NIA to talk to S’mogga victim’s wife
Shivamogga: The officials of National Investigation Agency (NIA) will visit Shivamogga to gather information from Pallavi, wife of Manjunath Rao, who was killed in Pahalgam terror attack. Rao was one of the 26 tourists who were killed in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22. Pallavi said on Monday that Shivamogga police informed her family about the NIA officials' visit. Speaking to reporters, she confirmed that two police officers notified her about NIA's forthcoming visit, though no specific timing was provided.Pallavi addressed the social media criticism against her, maintaining her stance on the incident. She clarified: "Yes, they shot tourists based on their religion, but that is not what I saw. Someone told me that in the hotel. It is true that they shot based on religion."Meanwhile, a week after Manjunath's killing, prominent figures continue to visit his family in Vijaynagar. Right-wing activist Chakravarthy Sulibele and former minister MP Renukacharya visited the family on Monday. Pallavi shared details of the tragic event with Sulibele.Sulibele told reporters after the meeting that retaliation was the only reasonable response, brushing aside chief minister Siddaramaiah's suggestion that war should be the last resort.
