Nat’l camp begins for NCC cadets

Mysuru: Col R R Menon, NCC Group Commander, Mysore group NCC, said that NCC Cadets must imbibe good character to become better and disciplined citizens who can contribute towards nation-building.
Delivering the opening address at ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) camp, which is an all-India level camp, he stressed on learning, discipline and character building. The camp, which will culminate on June 24, is being organised by the 3 Karnataka Girls Bn NCC, NCC Group Headquarters Mysuru.
During the 12-day camp, various activities, including ‘Mysuru Darshan’ for the cadets, are being organised. Around 600 cadets are participating in this camp. Besides military training, cadets are being enlightened about culture and traditions of other regions and states. Col Menon is Camp Commandant, assisted by Col Rajeev Kumar and Maj Sangeetha PS and 20 Permanent Instructor Staff (PI Staff) and Associate NCC Officers (ANOs).
