Mysuru: A day after a late-night party was raided near KRS backwaters, Mysuru district police have suspended three police officers, including a sub-inspector, on Monday.Superintendent of police N Vishnuvardhana confirmed to TOI that Yelwala police station sub-inspector Manjunath Nayak, head constable Nanjundaraje Urs, and constable Narayan have been suspended for dereliction of duty.Six individuals, including the property owner, organiser, and electronic device provider, have been arrested under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Excise Act and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.Vishnuvardhana mentioned that there are allegations of foreign nationals attending the party without obtaining permission, and the police team is investigating the matter. The medical test reports are still pending, which will confirm whether the approximately 60 youths who attended the party in an open ground were under the influence of any banned substances. The SP stated that during the raid, no drugs were found at the location or with any of the attendees.
