Muda scam: Special court adjourns hearing

Mysuru: The special court hearing the Muda scam case adjourned the hearing to Tuesday after one-and-a-half hours of argument on Monday.Snehamayi Krishna, complainant in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (Muda) site scam case, objected to the findings of the Lokayukta police. The police claimed there was no conclusive evidence against the accused persons, including CM Siddaramaiah, his wife Parvathi, his brother-in-law BM Mallikarjuna Swamy, and property owner Devaraju. Krishna stated that on Monday, the court heard his arguments and then posted the matter to Tuesday.He claimed the public prosecutor representing the Lokayukta police didn't respond to his objection but asked the court for permission to further investigate the matter. The Lokayukta police, in their report, requested the court to entirely investigate the Muda scam concerning the scam. The special court, dealing with criminal cases against sitting and former MLAs and MPs in Bengaluru, is hearing the investigation report submitted by the Lokayukta.
