Muda scam: Lakshmana hits out at Snehamayi Krishna
Mysuru: KPCC spokesperson M Lakshmana on Tuesday accused activist Snehamayi Krishna of acting as per the directions of BJP and JD(S) leaders. According to him, Krishna is being directed by the leaders of the two parties to approach the Lokayukta police and influence the SP, who is the investigating officer in the Muda case. Fifty per cent of the documents available with Krishna are fake, he claimed. Speaking to reporters, he said, "Krishna should meet the Lokayukta police involved in the Muda probe when they summon him. However, he is meeting them daily in to pressurise and influence them. Should the cops attached to the anti-graft agency conduct the probe as per his direction? There are no chances of destruction of evidence as certified documents are available in the govt offices." Lakshmana accused BJP of politicising the cabinet decision to withdraw cases related to the Hubballi riots. The decision was taken following petitions filed by organisations and individuals, he stated, adding that BJP is trying to project it as a decision taken by the Congress govt to help Muslims. It is BJP and RSS leaders who are terrorising people, he said.
