MYSORE: There are some private properties on the premises of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute and even an inch of government property will not be given to private people. After Dasara is over, these issues will be sorted out, said SA Ramdas, district in-charge and medical education minister.
Speaking after inaugurating the medical exhibition at Old Mysore Dasara Exhibition grounds here on Sunday, he said the exhibition will help school and college students apart from general public to improve their knowledge of science.
He also said that there is a proposal for a 24-hour library, for students.
All departments will display their medical exhibits and the staff and volunteers will brief the public about the exhibits. The students and public will get an idea about various systems in the body.
S Anu Priya who visited the exhibition was overwhelmed when she went round the exhibition. "It is really very interesting. We are able to know more about our body parts and its functioning. Students and even general public should make use of this exhibition," said Anu Priya.
The exhibition will be opened till October 8 daily between 10am and 8pm. There is no entry fee for the exhibition.
