Hockey tournament to begin

MYSORE: To commemorate the National Sports Day celebration, National Sports Day's Celebration Committee will conduct an inter-school and inter-college Andolana Cup hockey tournament for both boys and girls at University of Mysore hockey ground from August 29 to September 4.
There will be three categories: Primary school, High School and College categories respectively, 19 teams from both boys and girls section will be taking part in the school section while in college category seven teams from girls section and 11 teams from men's section are expected to take part in the tournament.The matches will be played on knock-out basis. Basvaraj Malagathi, DCP (law and order) will be the chief guest and inaugurate the event on August 29 at 9am.
