Man murders brother-in-law

Mysuru: A man absconded after allegedly murdering his brother-in-law inside a lodge within Metagalli police limits. Police have launched a search to arrest him.
Metagalli police said Manoj, 26, of Periyapatna taluk was found lying dead in a pool of blood when police were called by his relatives early on Tuesday. According to the family, Vinod, 29, allegedly killed him and then fled the spot after locking him inside the room, police said.
The incident is suspected to have occurred late on Sunday, but came to light after their family came to the lodge in search of Manoj, an officer revealed.
The motive behind the murder will be known after the arrest of the accused.
