BJP governments promoting privatisation, alleges SUCI

Mysuru: Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) senior leader K Radhakrishna on Sunday alleged that BJP governments have always promoted privatisation as it favours capitalist forces in the country.He was speaking at the political convention organised as part of 76th Foundation Day celebrations of SUCI (Communist) in Mysuru. He accused both the state and Union governments of suppressing the voice of dissent and adopting anti-government policies and thrusting communal agenda on the people.He criticised Congress which came to power after the Independence and promoted capitalism, but later came under public criticism and people's ire for favouring such capitalists. “The BJP government which also came to power by overthrowing Congress has also continued to promote capitalist economy,” Radhakrishna stated.As both Congress and BJP are agents of capitalism, problems like inflation, price rise of essential commodities, corruption and unemployment continue in the country without any solution, he alleged. He appealed to farmers and labourers to support SUCI (Communist) which always fights for their interests. SUCI (Communist) district general secretary B Ravi, secretariat member Umadevi, Krishnaraja SUCI (Communist) party candidate Sandhya P S, Chamaraja candidate G S Seema and others were present.
