All those involved in Muda scam will be punished: Snehamayi Krishna

Mysuru: Activist Snehamayi Krishna, the petitioner in the Muda scam case, on Wednesday asserted that punishment was certain for all those who illegally acquired plots through the Mysuru Urban Development Authority.Speaking to reporters, Snehamayi highlighted that many officials and influential individuals were involved in the illegal activities, and they would all be held accountable.Krishna warned that more arrests were likely in the coming days, citing the large-scale corruption in the allotment of plots, which allegedly involved the embezzlement of hundreds of crores. The activist also pointed to the delay in the investigation and claimed that chief minister Siddaramaiah, who has been accused in the scam, used his influence to protect himself and his family from the charges. According to Krishna, a report favoring the CM had been submitted, but no verdict had been reached yet. He stressed that only after the court gives its verdict, it will be final.
