52 schools score 100% in SSLC exams

A total of 52 high schools in the district have registered 100% results in SSLC exam this year.

MYSORE: A total of 52 high schools in the district have registered 100% results in SSLC exam this year.
DDPI Nagendrakumar said it is a huge improvement from last year's 22. The DDPI attributed the success to the special efforts of conducting preparatory exams and holding of review meetings with teachers and authorities. The district has a total of 544 schools, including 210 government schools.
The neighbouring Chamarajanagar district has fared well with 34 schools securing 100% results.

It has jumped to 18th rank in the state from the previous 20th. The pass percentage too has improved by 13% from 66.02% in 2010 to 79.34% now. In 2009, the district was in 30th place with 66.38% result and in 2008, it stood last (32nd position) with 57.93%.
Chamarajanagar DDPI B A Rajashekar attributed the success to the efforts of teachers and education staff who monitored performance of students. They conducted tests every two months. Even deployment of adequate teachers to schools helped them get good results.
