Mookhey and Tuli have been caught in a legal battle with her accusing him of cruelty.

The mediator would try and reconcile the couple. The HC had first suggested that the couple go in for mediation in September to settle dispute with mutual consent. It was hearing a plea by Tuli for pre-arrest bail. The idea was to ensure they explore ways to end the dispute and start afresh, the HC had said.
In July Yukta accused her husband of subjecting her to domestic violence. He moved for anticipatory bail first before the sessions court which rejected it on August 31. The session court had however granted him interim protection before the final order leading Yukta to challenge it in the HC, which asked her to let the proceedings end in the subordinate court first.
The HC had while hearing Yukta's plea had earlier observed that an offence of cruelty by a husband against his wife is a ''continuous offence'' under section 498A of the IPC and that the sessions court had not taken that aspect into consideration.
