Youth molests woman in lift of Borivli tower

MUMBAI: A 21-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman in the elevator of a highrise in Borivali (E) and trying to rob her mobile phone on Tuesday.
The security guards at the building nabbed the accused, Navin Patel, and handed him over to the police. He was booked on molestation charges.
"Patel and the woman were in the elevator when he suddenly hugged and touched her inappropriately.When the elevator reached the 12th floor and its doors opened, Patel tried to snatch her phone and flee. She raised an alarm. Patel panicked and ran down the staircase," a Kasturba Marg police officer said. The woman immediately pressed the elevator button for the ground floor and on reaching there ran towards the security guard and narrated the incident. The guards then caught Patel.
