Vikhroli ROB work to disrupt few long distance and suburban train services post-midnight between April 7 -12

MUMBAI: A few long distance trains and suburban services will be affected as Central Railway will operate special traffic power blocks between Ghatkopar and Bhandup stations for launching of girders for Vikhroli Road Over Bridge (ROB) from April 7 to 12 after midnight.

The ROB is being built to eliminate the level crossing gate at Vikhroli, which is major bottleneck for railway as well as road traffic.

The block will be held on all slow, fast and 5th and 6th lines between 1.20 am and 4.30 am on most days.

The schedule of the blocks and its repercussion on train services are as below :

1. April 7

Duration of Block: 01:20 hrs to 04:05 hrs (02.45 hours)

Regulation/Short-Termination of UP Mail/Express trains:
1. 11020 Bhubaneswar-CSMT Exp will be short-terminated at Thane.
2. 18030 Shalimar-LTT will be regulated suitably.
3. 12810 Howrah-CSMT Exp will be regulated suitably and short-terminated at Dadar.
4. 18519 Visakhapatnam-LTT Exp will be regulated at Thane from 03.49 to 04.05 hrs and will arrive destination 20 mins behind scheduled arrival.
5. 12134 Mangaluru-CSMT Exp will be regulated at Nilje from 03.32 to 04.10 hrs and will arrive CSMT 50 mins behind scheduled arrival.
Note:
Trains 20104 Gorakhpur-LTT Exp, 12702 Hyderabad-CSMT Exp, 11140 Gadag-CSMT Exp, 11402 Adilabad -CSMT Exp & 12152 Shalimar -LTT Exp will arrive destination 15 to 20 minutes behind schedule.

Short-Termination of Suburban trains:
1. T 151 CSMT Dep 23.57 hrs will run upto Kurla.
2. T 2 Thane Dep 04.00 hr will run from Kurla.

II. April 8

Duration of Block: 01:20 hrs to 04:30 hrs (03.10 hours)

Short-Termination of Suburban trains:
1. T 151 CSMT Dep 23.57 hrs will run upto Kurla.
2. T 2 Thane Dep 04.00 hrs will run from Kurla.
3. A 3 CSMT Dep 05.16 hrs will run from Thane.
Cancellation of suburban trains:
1. T 4 Thane Dep 04.16 hrs will remain cancelled.
2. T 6 Thane Dep 04.40 hrs will remain cancelled.
Diversion of suburban trains:
S 2 & A 2 will be diverted on UP Fast line between Mulund & Matunga stations halting at Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghakopar, Kurla & Sion stations.

III . April. 9

Duration of Block: 01:20 hrs to 04:30 hrs (03.10 hours)

Diversion of UP Mail/Express trains:
Trains 11020 Bhubaneshwar-CSMT Exp, 12810 Howrah-CSMT Exp, 12134 Mangaluru-CSMT Exp, 12702 Hyderabad-CSMT Exp &11140 Gadag-CSMT Exp will be diverted on 6th Line between Thane & Vidyavihar stations.

IV April 10
Date of the Block:09/10.04.2024 (Tuesday/Wednesday Night)

Duration of Block: 01:20 hrs to 04:30 hrs (03.10 hours)

Traffic Block Section: UP & DOWN Slow Lines; UP & DOWN Fast Lines and 5th & 6th Lines between Kanjur Marg and Ghatkopar

Diversion of UP Mail/Express trains:
Trains 12102 Shalimar-LTT Exp, 18030 Shalimar -LTT Exp, 18519 Visakhapatnam-LTT Exp & 20104 Gorakhpur-LTT Exp will be diverted on UP Fast Line between Thane & Vidyavihar stations.

V April 11

Duration of Block: 01:20 hrs to 04:30 hrs (03.10 hours)

Short-Termination of Suburban trains:
1. T 151 CSMT Dep 23.57 hrs will run upto Kurla.
2. T 2 Thane Dep 04.00 hrs will run from Kurla.
3. A 3 CSMT Dep 05.16 hrs will run from Thane.
Cancellation of suburban trains:
1. T 4 Thane Dep 04.16 hrs will remain cancelled.
2. T 6 Thane Dep 04.40 hrs will remain cancelled.
Diversion of suburban trains:

VI April 12
