MUMBAI: Two people were killed in hit-and-run accidents in Bandra and Goregaon on Tuesday.
In the first mishap, a 30-year-old worker, Bikram Masih, was hit by a red car near the Bandra bridge on the sea link’s south-bound lane. The incident took place around 8.30 pm, when Masih, along with another worker, Ramesh Bhagwansingh (46), got off a company bus.
They were crossing the road when the speeding car hit Masih.
In the second mishap, a 23-year-old biker,
Azhar Khan, was killed in Goregaon after a lorry rammed into him on the Western Express Highway. The driver, Gyanchand Yadav, was arrested. Khan was a resident of Borivli and was employed in a private firm. The incident took place around 5 pm at New Ashok Nagar, when Khan was riding on the highway’s north-bound lane.
