Two brothers held for data theft, cheating
Mumbai: The Mumbai police have arrested two former employees of a steel company on charges of data theft, specifically the KYC details of clients. The duo had reportedly established their own enterprise after erasing data from their former employer’s computers, causing significant financial harm to the employer company.The accused, Ravi Shah and Rahul Shah, were arrested on the complaint of Harish Chandan, owner of Aesteiron Steel. Chandan had approached the police last week. Authorities are currently searching for the third brother, Yash Shah, in connection with the case. —S Ahmed Ali
