Trio attacks teenager with sword, 1one arrested
A 19-year-old youth, Pramod Yadav, was attacked with a sword on Sunday by three men over an altercation they had during the recent Ganpati immersion. Pramod sustained injuries to his right hand and neck and has been hospitalized.
The accused—Rohit Khot (28), his brother, Abhi (26), and their friend, Rajesh Buchhav (30)—are Goregaon residents.
On September 4, Rohit had got into a fight with Pramod and his brother Manoj over beer suds. To avenge the fight, Rohit, Abhi and Rajesh accosted Pramod in Santosh Nagar on Sunday. They threatened him, before attacking with a sword.
