Train with 1,400 pilgrims leaves city for Ayodhya

Mumbai: Deputy CM and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Monday flagged off a special Mumbai-Ayodhya train from CSMT. The train has been arranged by BJP to take people to Ayodhya for a visit to the newly inaugurated Ram temple.
Some 1,400 persons of North Mumbai Lok Sabha constituency were the first batch to leave from the city.
While BJP spokesperson Niranjan Shetty claimed people have to pay for rail fare, sources said BJP is providing free travel. TNN
