MUMBAI: Three people were injured at MG road in Fort when parapet of a terrace area portion of the building collapsed suddenly.
The demolition works of the building were being carried out when the incident took place and the area had been cordoned off.
The fire brigade, ambulance and ward staff immediately rushed to the site. The injured were rushed to Bombay hospital and have been identified as Sanjay Singh,48 who was treated on OPD basis and discharged, while the two others refused hospitalisation.
Since the building was dilapidated, it was vacated and undergoing demolition at the time of the incident, said civic sources.
